Day Two to Healing

Because I felt like I was starving all of yesterday, I made sure to eat plenty today. I prepped batches of Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps and Zuppa Toscana Soup late last night to be more prepared today. I was determined to have a better day. But, as determined as I might have been, my body just wouldn't let me be great today.
In additional to starting this new lifestyle journey, we welcomed our newest fur baby, Hawk, home last night. Hawk is only eight weeks old and he was born into a litter of nine that he'd grown accustomed to doing life with, so coming into a new home and being the only pup was hard on him. He cried most of the night. Expectantly, it took a toll on my husband and me. We hardly got any sleep at a time when rest is so crucial as we are detoxifying our bodies.
I might as well be a walking zombie today. Productivity is not on the agenda. But food is. Food is currently all that consumes me. What will I eat today? What can I eat? What can't I eat? At lunch, I was secretly wishing I could add Tobasco sauce and chili flakes into my soup. At dinner, I had Thai Beef Lettuce wrap and just knew that the dish would have tasted so much better if I could have added the lime as the recipe called for.
After lunch I suddenly felt nausea set in. I was nauseated, had a throbbing headache, and could barely keep my eyes open. I'm not sure if the nausea was a response to the soup or a side effect of my gut issues. I was going through it. But, that notion doesn't quite fill the magnitude of what I was feeling in that moment. I laid down and rested for about fifteen minuted before I had to get up and run errands. I was really hoping to get to bed early tonight, but I'm definitely well beyond that at his point, as it is currently 3am. At least, Hawk and the husband have been sound asleep for quite some time now. At least theres that, all three of my babes are peacefully resting.

7:30p Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps (eliminated lime), Hamburger Patty Wrapped in Lettuce w/Mustard
10p Banana Chips, Sunflower Kernels
Beverages: Peppermint Tea w/one scoop Collagen Powder, 32oz Water w/ Coconut Drops
Supplements: Oil of Oregano, Zypan
Symptoms: Exhausted, Nausea, Headache, Disorganized, Cranky + Irritable, 4hrs of Sleep
